The three rules
- Shards are consumed before Rerolls. If you carry 10 Arrow Shards and 100 Rerolls, initiating a replacement burns your 10 shards automatically without offering a choice of payment method.
- Replacements never roll your current Stand. The replacement algorithm excludes the Stand currently equipped on your character; you can never re-roll into the exact same Stand.
- Save your Stand before rerolling. Stand Storage preserves your Stand and its skin variant; an unsaved Stand replaced by a reroll is permanently discarded.
Trap: assuming you can choose between shards and Rerolls
The most common trap when managing inventory is saving Arrow Shards for later updates while attempting to spend 100 Rerolls on an immediate roll. The game engine deducts Arrow Shards first at a flat rate of 10 shards per replacement. You cannot manually force the interface to consume Rerolls while carrying 10 or more shards.
Two currencies, one price
Every Stand replacement costs either 100 Rerolls or 10 Arrow Shards, with shards prioritized automatically. That represents the complete pricing baseline.
In replacement terms, 10 shards yield the same single replacement as 100 Rerolls, giving one shard an equivalent value of roughly 10 Rerolls. Keep this parity in mind when evaluating quest rewards versus code drops, even though no in-game exchange counter exists.
The video guide by CHALLS features Gold Experience on its cover and walks through acquisition paths before shifting at 2:25 to replacement rules and Arrow despawn timers. Note that this footage predates the 18 October update, meaning it explains the replacement cost but does not showcase the subsequent Stand Storage interface.
How To OBTAIN A STAND

Branch A: paying with Arrow Shards
Arrow Shards originate from active promotional codes and completion of the fourth Occult Club investigation case. They represent a non-purchasable progression resource that cannot be bought directly with Robux.
Choose this branch when: you are performing a single strategic reroll and wish to preserve your Reroll balance, knowing the game will exhaust these shards first regardless of intent.
Branch B: paying with Rerolls
Rerolls drop from promo codes, daily quests, and the in-game shop. The Robux shop maintains a flat rate of 3 Robux per Roll across every bundle tier:
- 50 Rerolls: 150 Robux
- 100 Rerolls: 300 Robux
- 250 Rerolls: 750 Robux
- 500 Rerolls: 1,500 Robux
- 1,000 Rerolls: 3,000 Robux
Because there is zero volume discount for purchasing larger bundles, a 100-Reroll replacement carries a baseline real-money cost of roughly 300 Robux if funded entirely through microtransactions.
The two shard names explained
Developer announcements create minor confusion across update logs:
- The 10 October patch post references Arrow Shards.
- The 11 October patch post references Stand Shards for the identical reward tier.
Both terms describe the exact same replacement currency, and the replacement prompt itself requires Arrow Shards. Do not treat Arrow Shards and Stand Shards as distinct inventory pools.
When a replacement is worth the investment
Never reroll simply because an unequipped Stand carries a higher rarity tag. Evaluate a replacement only when your current Stand clashes with your combat rhythm:
- Cooldown mismatch: Star Platinum offers a 7-second skill cooldown, while The World locks your skill behind a 45-second Time Stop cooldown. If your playstyle requires active pressure, an Epic Stand with long downtime will underperform an Uncommon with rapid cycles.
- Resource drain: Wonder of U consumes 32.3 of your 100-point meter across its 17-hit barrage before casting a skill. Two consecutive rotations exhaust your gauge and enforce a ten-second lockout.
- Role conflict: Crazy Diamond's 32.4 barrage output restores health to targets rather than inflicting damage, functioning as a dedicated support tool.
After planning your replacement
- Secure your current build: review the exact save sequence in Stand Storage.
- Collect free currency before spending Robux: redeem rewards from the verified code list.
- Evaluate candidate Stands: compare barrage outputs and cooldowns in the Stand roster.
